Questions
What counts as a pageview?
Every page someone views in your apps, including page changes inside your single-page app. We add up all your apps for each calendar month (UTC). Signups, payments and custom events never count: we never charge you for the signups and payments we track.
What happens if I go over my pageviews?
We never stop recording and never charge you more without asking. The first month over, you get a notice. After two months in a row over, we suggest the smallest step that fits and give you 7 days' notice. After that, the dashboard locks until you upgrade. Your data is kept the whole time. If an account goes far above its plan (more than 3 times its pageviews), recording pauses until an upgrade.
How does the free trial work?
14 days of Starter, no card needed. It starts when your first visitor is recorded, not when you sign up, so setup days don't count. If you don't pick a plan, the dashboard locks but we keep recording for 90 days (up to 10K pageviews a month; signups and payments always). Your data is kept for 365 days, so picking a plan brings it all back.
Who charges me, and how do tax, currency and cancelling work?
Stripe sells our plans for us ("Sold through Link"), so VAT or sales tax is added at checkout and Stripe takes care of it. Prices are in US dollars and you can pay in your own currency. Your card statement shows LINK.COM* VIBEMETRICS. Upgrades start right away (you pay the difference); downgrades start when the period you paid for ends. You can cancel any time from the Billing page.
